Getting Help

You're not the problem and you're not on your own, kid!

When (not if) you need research help, we're here for you. Here's a couple of easy ways to get help from librarians.

  • Chat is great for after-hours help. Belmont Librarians answer chat questions during the day, and academic librarians at other universities answer chats on the weekends and evenings. A real librarian always answers!
  • Have a quick question, such as does the library have this article, or what database should I use for my research? Chat is a fast way to get help!
  • Get started by using the box on the library's homepage, by using any of the blue sliding "Ask Us" dialogs, or by clicking on the button below!

  • Appointments are the best way to sit down and get in-depth help from a Belmont librarian.
  • If you're... not sure how to get started with research, need help brainstorming keywords, are trying to do a literature review, etc. we recommend an appointment!
  • Appointments are available in person and online via Teams.
  • Get started by clicking the button below! (Or click on Meet With a Librarian on the library's homepage).
