Art: Art Galleries

Located in the lobby of the Bunch Library.

The Leu Art Gallery is located in the lobby of the Bunch Library, and Gallery 212 is located in the Leu Center for the Visual Arts (next to the library).

Botanical gardens and historic mansion with a selection of rotating art exhibitions as well as a permanent art collection.

The Fisk University Galleries include the Carl Van Vechten Gallery, the Aaron Douglas Gallery, and the Aaron Douglas murals. The Galleries are open during Fisk University's regular hours, and free tours can be arranged by contacting the galleries.

Local Nashville art museum, with exhibits that rotate on a regular basis. Free admission for college students with IDs on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00! (For other days and times, admission is $10 for college students).

Nearby Vanderbilt University's art gallery, with a varied permanent collection as well as several rotating exhibitions. Admission is free, but it's recommended to call ahead to ensure the gallery is open that day.

The Parthenon, besides being a scale replica of the Greek Parthenon, also houses two art galleries. Admission is $6.50 as of September 2018.
