Focused Self-Exploration

A common learning goal for COM 1100 is to engage you in focused self-exploration and provide you with an opportunity to articulate your unique statement of purpose. At some point in the course, you’ll be asked to complete a self-exploration inventory that will help you identify and/or reflect on your strengths, weaknesses and interests. Your reflective process will serve as the basis for a speaking assignment to be determined by your professor. Below are a number of tools you might use for focused self-exploration:
