Installing EndNote

Faculty and graduate students may install EndNote Desktop on their computers. Instructions are posted in MyBelmont, under Academic Resources. 

Already have EndNote installed? Current users my upgrade to EndNote 20 using the new installer and product key posted to MyBelmont. (12/17/20). Before upgrading, EndNote recommends backing up your existing library and uninstalling earlier versions. 

Undergraduate students may register for a free EndNote Web account at www.myendnoteweb.com

About EndNote

EndNote is reference management software, with features to:

  • Keep all your references and pdf's in a searchable personal library
  • Synchronize your references between your desktop, laptop, and iPad
  • Share your references with collaborators through EndNote Sync
  • Use your references in word-processing documents to create formatted citations and bibliographies or independent reference lists

**After installation, be sure to carefully go through the Create/Organize Library tab in order to set up the software to work properly!**
