About this Guide

Welcome to the Faculty Scholarship LibGuide! The purpose of this guide is to collect recent publications of Belmont faculty in order to highlight their scholarly works. 

This is a new endeavor by the library, and so we are currently collecting published books and journal articles.

Dr. Mark Schenkel

Entrepreneurship, Jack C. Massey College of Business

Dr. Mark T. Schenkel is Professor of Entrepreneurship at Belmont University. He has authored over 30 peer reviewed journal articles, co-authored five book chapters, and chaired competitive submissions at multiple international conferences since joining Belmont in 2005. His scholarship appears in leading journals including Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Family Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, New England Journal of Entrepreneurship and the Journal of Small Business Strategy. Schenkel is Associate Editor for Journal of Small Business Management and is on the editorial boards of Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship and Journal of Ethics & Entrepreneurship. He currently serves as Immediate Past President for the United States Association for Small Business & Entrepreneurship, a leading entrepreneurship education association, where his case writing efforts were recognized with the 2007 Outstanding Case Award. He earned the Best Teaching Case Award from the International Small Business Journal in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
