Technical support guide for the use of eBooks and eBook reader software.

Downloading eBooks

You will need a personal Ebsco account to access ebooks through the app. To create an ebsco account, 

  1. Go to  EBSCO EBOOKS
  2. Select the Sign In Link.
  3. Select the Create a New Account Link.

NOTE: you will only need to create an account ONCE.

Next, you will need to download the EBSCO Ebooks app from the App store. (It’s Free).  When you open the app, you will be at your bookshelf. 

To find new books, select the Find Books Icon.  You will get taken to the Find My Library Page.

  1. Select a Country
  2. Select a state (Tennessee) 
  3. Select Belmont Univ

Browse or search for titles.  When you have found a title you want, select Download offline.  Sign in with your personal Ebsco account.  Adjust the check out period and the format you want.  Select the Checkout and Download button.  The book will automatically download to your device.   

It should appear at the top of the list on your Bookshelf.  Read like you would any ebook!   

You'll need to create an account at EBSCO if you have not already.

  1. Go to  EBSCO EBOOKS
  2. Select the Sign In Link.
  3. Select the Create a New Account Link.

Search or browse for eBooks. Click on the title link of any eBook to go to its record.
