Try this at home!

You can easily access the library's electronic resources when you are off-campus.  You will need to log in with your MyBelmont username and password.  If you have any problems with this, feel free to contact us, or send an email to mybelmont@belmont.edu.

Information Literacy Instruction

The research librarians provide a robust, enriching information literacy program. You can find out more about it by clicking on the "Information Literacy Program" tab at the top of this page. Information literacy instruction is a strong component of the First Year Seminar, First Year Writing, and Third Year Writing courses. We also provide discipline-specific instruction, tailored to your needs, for courses and assignments in any discipline.

The librarians will visit your students in your classrooms to provide instruction. It will be helpful if the students bring laptops to class on the day the instruction is scheduled. We also suggest that the class instructor remain in the room and we welcome your participation and input.

To schedule an instruction session, or for any questions about our program, please contact Judy Williams (judy.williams@belmont.edu or 615-460-6610).‚Äč

FYS Anthology

All faculty are encouraged to read the First Year Seminar Anthology (3rd ed., 2017) and make connections to their courses from the content.  If you have questions about the anthology, please contact the Department of General Education.
