Each department is assigned a liaison librarian.  Your librarian can answer all of your questions regarding information literacy instruction for your students, ordering of library materials for the collection, and services that Bunch Library can provide for you.

You can easily access the library's electronic resources when you are off-campus.  You will need to log in with your Belmont email credentials, but everything should work the same!  If you have any problems with this, feel free to contact us.

Reserve items, both print and media, are kept at the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library.

Looking for ebooks to use for class? Check the library's holdings. 

Watch the video below for info on how to find them through the library. 

When using ebooks in class be sure to check for the following 2 things to ensure they are accessible to your students:

1. Is there an unlimited license? Some of our ebooks are only accessible to 1 simultaneous user. The video will show you one way to check the license, or you can ask a librarian. 
2. If linking to an ebook in Blackboard, be sure to include the proxy url for off campus access. Check the Linking to Library Resources guide for more information. 

The library may be able to purchase an unlimited use license for ebooks for your course. To place a request for a single title in ebook format, complete this form. If you would like to check on access and pricing for multiple titles, please email your subject librarian or send the list to research@belmont.edu. 

The library offers streaming video via Kanopy and Swank.  If you don’t see the title you want, please request access and we’ll do our best to get it for you.

• To request a video via Kanopy, search for the video and then scroll down until you see the section that says “videos you can request for your library”.  If the video is listed there, click on it to complete the request form.  The library will receive your request and process it as quickly as possible.  It usually takes around 48 hours to get access to films on Kanopy.
• To request a video via Swank, you’ll need to be sure that you choose Faculty the first time you access their page.  If you’re not asked if you’re a student or faculty, then you’ll need to create an Instructor account.  After that, you’ll be able to search for and request films using the form on the Swank website.  Requests will be sent to the library, and we will process them as quickly as possible.  It can take up to a week to get access to films on Swank.
• If the title you’re interested in doesn’t appear in either one, please email research@belmont.edu and we'll see if we can find it elsewhere.
