    "Data included in the ARDA are submitted by the foremost religion scholars and research centers in the world. Currently housed in the Social Science Research Institute, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Department of Sociology at the Pennsylvania State University, the ARDA is funded by the Lilly Endowment, the John Templeton Foundation, Chapman University and the Pennsylvania State University.

    From the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, this is based on survey data of 35,000 American adults. Easy access is provided to information on Affilations, Maps, Portraits, and Comparisons.

  • CIA World Factbook: Religions
    Succinct overviews of World Religions along with a breakdown of the various religious adherents per country.
  • National Congregations Survey
    From Duke University, "The National Congregations Study (NCS) is an ongoing national survey effort to gather information about the basic characteristics of America's congregations."
  • North American Jewish Data Bank
    "The North American Jewish Data Bank is the central repository of social scientific studies of North American Jewry."
  • Religious Freedom
    From the US State Department's Office of International Religious Freedom, this page provides the Annual Report on International Religious Freedom 2016-2018.  Older reports, going back to 2001, can be found by searching the archive.
